This project entailed the geometric design of 32 Christian Road in Swanson, New Zealand, executed on behalf of DEANE Consultancy Ltd. and commissioned by Auckland Council. The initiative focused on developing a safe, functional, and sustainable road design to support local traffic needs and align with council standards.
Our role involved designing the road geometry, including horizontal and vertical alignments and cross sections, to ensure optimal safety, comfort, and efficiency for road users. Detailed cross-sections and profiles were prepared, providing clear guidelines for construction and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This project required a thorough understanding of the area’s terrain and existing infrastructure. By employing cutting-edge design software and adhering to Auckland Council’s rigorous specifications, we delivered a solution that not only met technical standards but also accommodated the unique characteristics of the location.
The project underscores our expertise in collaborating with local authorities and consultancy firms to create road networks that enhance connectivity and support urban development. Through this project, we contributed to the ongoing infrastructure advancements in Swanson and the broader Auckland region.
